Manchester City has confirmed that they reached an agreement to sign Borussia Dortmunds star striker Erling Haaland. The 21-year -old Norway international palyer has officially signed for a new club ahead of the 2022/23 season after his ¬75 million (R1.2 billion) release clause was reportedly activated.
City said this in the club statement: "Manchester City can confirm we have reached an agreement in principle with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of striker Erling Haaland to the club on 1st July 2022,"

Although he has suffered numerous injuries this season in Germany, Haaland remains as one of the world's best strikers.
He has gone on to score 85 goals in 88 appearances for BVB in all competitions, making him one of the most prolific forwards in world football.
