Chiefs snapped a four-match winless run as they beat Sekhukhune 2-1 at their alternative home ground in Durban on Wednesday evening, coming from a goal down at half-time to turn things around.

Ntseki was full of praise of how the players responded to his team talk at the break, with the result offering them some respite following increasing pressure after their MTN8 exit at the hands of Mamelodi Sundowns last weekend.

"I think football is a game of moments. One moment we had chances to win the game very early, in one moment we went to sleep and the other moment we gave away a goal," explained Ntseki after the match.

"So, I think some are very scary moments, but the most important thing is how you handle those scary moments, and I think we dealt with the scary moment in the first half in terms of performance and giving away a goal in the critical phase.

"Going into the second half, it was a very important half-time talk in terms of what needs to happen, whether we have to up our intensity or whether we have to up our attitude and our chances, and also being on the ball more.

"I think the second half was a very good half because we played with intention and we were more on the ball and, in doing so, the aggression in creating and converting opportunities – one must just say congratulations, Kaizer Chiefs.

"I think the players applied themselves, it was a very important game for us after our past matches that we could not win, so a win is very important and we are celebrating this win.

"But in the celebration, we are looking forward to the next game which will also be a home game – another difficult game that we have to prepare for, but for tonight we celebrate and congratulate Kaizer Chiefs and the players."
