Nigerian Samuel Chukwueze hits brace for Villarreal to sink Real Madrid

Nigerian striker Samuel Chukwueze scored twice, including a stunning winner, to help Villarreal beat Real Madrid 3-2 at the Bernabeu.

The hosts had taken the lead through a Pau Torres own goal in the 16 minute but Chukwueze slotted in an equaliser before halftime.

Vinicius Jr's solo strike put Real ahead after the interval but Jose Luis Morales equalised as the visitors once again hit back.

Chukwueze then stunned the more illustrious opponents when he curled in a stunning effort 10 minutes from full-time to give his team victory.

The three points moves Villarreal up to fifth in the table while Real Madrid's faint LaLiga title hopes were dealt a huge blow as the now find themselves 12 points behind leaders Barcelona.
