The Bulls forward is coached by 2007 World Cup winner White at club level and 2019 World Cup-winning coach Erasmus with the Springboks.
Louw reveals that there is a clear difference in styles between the two coaches with Erasmus being hugely involved in training sessions while for White it is more hands-off with his assistants taking control.
"I don't think I will upset anyone with this but I think Rassie is more hands-on type of guy," the back-rower said on The Good, The Bad and The Rugby South Africa podcast.
"He gets involved in training, running around kicking balls, getting in between rucks, and simulating the opposition.
"While Jake is more of a delegator, or facilitator so he gets his coaches underneath him to buy into his vision and where he wants to go."
Ex-Springboks centre Gcobani Bobo added: "That's the difference between 65 and 53."
Schalk Brits made the point that Erasmus was also a former Bok while White didn't play at that level.
Louw was also asked about the goals he wants to achieve in his career with the Bulls and the Springboks. The 24-year-old made his Test debut in 2022, featuring off the bench twice against Wales and once against Argentina.
However, he would have to wait until 2024 to add to his cap tally, again coming off the bench, this time against Portugal before earning back-to-back starts against Australia.
While he was not willing to set a target on how many times he wants to play for the Boks, he was clear that the number was not seven.
"I definitely want to win a few trophies with the Bulls that's a massive goal for me," he stated.
"My contract ends in 2027 and I don't know what's going to happen after that so I want to do it as fast as possible so that's definitely a goal for me.
"As for the Springboks, I don't you can ever put a number on a certain amount of caps you want but it's not seven â- so as much as I can possibly play for the Boks."
