Kolisi: Boks eyeing special Heritage Day
Springboks captain Siya Kolisi is hoping to make it a special Heritage Day for South Africans when they take on Argentina at Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium this evening.
The Boks take on Los Pumas in their final Rugby Championship test in Durban as they hope to clinch the title from under New Zealand's noses with an emphatic victory in front of home support.
"It will be a big day in South Africa being Heritage Day. For us, diversity is something that we celebrate as a group, with our different races and cultures, and it would be great to see that come together while thanking our supporters and the people of South Africa," said Kolisi.
"The match is going to be special for several reasons, its not only a final for us but it is also Heritage Day and we are playing at home after a long time away."
The All Blacks face Australia in Auckland early this morning (09:05) and already hold a points difference advantage on the standings, with the two teams level on 14 points after five matches.
Were definitely going to watch the morning game - we need to know what happens in that match so that we know what we need to do against Argentina, and the same applies to them, said Kolisi.
As things stand all four teams can still win the competition, but regardless of what happens in the match between Australia and New Zealand, it will still be a proper final for us and the Pumas.
