Despite numerous disruptions, the Sharks showcased composure and determination to secure a crucial win.
The Sharks took an early lead with Jordan Hendrikse's opening penalty. Jaden Hendrikse extended the advantage with a try, converted by Jordan Hendrikse, bringing the score to 10-0.
The Bulls responded as Cobus Wiese powered over for a try, converted by Johan Goosen (7-10). The visitors took the lead shortly after, with Harold Vorster's try and Goosen's conversion (14-10).
The second half saw heightened drama. Goosen slotted a penalty to push the Bulls ahead 17-10, but Sebastian de Klerk's yellow card for slapping the ball over the dead-ball line handed the Sharks a penalty try, levelling the game at 17-17. Jordan Hendrikse sealed the victory with a final penalty.
The Bulls dominated the scrums but faltered in decision-making and discipline.
Missed penalties, including a crucial late attempt by Goosen that hit the upright, and failure to capitalise on opportunities inside the Sharks' 22, proved costly.
This win strengthened the Sharks' position in the top eight of the competition, while the Bulls were left to rue their errors and squandered chances.
Despite the disruptions, the Sharks held firm, showcasing resilience and composure to edge out their rivals in a thrilling encounter.
