Springbok centre Lukhanyo Am believes they can defend the Rugby World Cup in France next year.
Ireland flanker Josh van der Flier was named men's World Rugby Player of the Year on Sunday, pipping South Africa's Lukhanyo Am to the crown, as New Zealand co-captain Ruahei Demant took the women's Player of the Year award.
Lukhanyo Am's star continues to rise after he was nominated for the Player of the Year at the World Rugby Awards annual event.
