The Brazilian has been an instrumental figure in the Los Blancos' starting lineup and is growing from strength. Following on from his heroics in the Champions League final last season, Vinicius has quite remarkably scored and assisted in each of his last 13 games.
It is the sort of form that has prompted Ancelotti to once again shower praise on the 22-year-old and said he could easiy be the hottest property in world football right now.
The Italian tactician's comments come a few days after Vinicius scored a wonder goal in the 1-1 draw with Manchester City in Champions League semifinal action on Wednesday.
"Right now, Vinicius, if he's not the best, he's up there," said the Los Blancos boss.
"He brings a lot. He's a very decisive player who contributes a lot with his assists and goals."
Vinicius has proven himself to be in the same league as the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Madrid teammate Karim Benzema with his displays this season.
