The Champions League will undoubtedly garner most of the attention given that it features some of the top clubs in Europe.
However, the Europa League and Europa Conference League should also deliver plenty of excitement for football fans and sports bettors alike, with sportingbets offering a vast array of markets on each of the upcoming fixtures.
With that in mind, read on as we look at the quarter-final draw for each competition. We also assess which teams will likely progress to the last four.
Champions League 2024/25 – Quarter-final draw & preview
- Arsenal vs Real Madrid
Manchester City were the ante-post favourites to win the Champions League, but exited the competition after being defeated by Real Madrid in the knockout round play-offs.
The 15-time European champions subsequently beat Atletico Madrid on penalties in their last-16 tie to earn a quarter-final match-up against Arsenal.
The Gunners demolished PSV Eindhoven 9-3 on aggregate in the previous round, but Madrid will be a much tougher proposition. The La Liga side should progress to the semi-finals.
Barcelona are also a good bet to reach the last four after being paired with Borussia Dortmund, while Paris Saint-Germain are fancied to beat Aston Villa.
The clash between Bayern Munich and Inter Milan is tougher to predict, with both teams producing some strong results in the competition this season.
Bayern will be desperate to stay on course to reach the final, which is scheduled to be staged at the Allianz Arena in Munich on May 31.
However, Inter have been more impressive than Bayern in the Champions League this term and can make it through to the semi-finals.
Europa League 2024/25 – Quarter-final draw & preview
- Bodo/Glimt vs Lazio
Manchester United have endured an underwhelming season on the domestic front, but it has been a different story in the Europa League.
The Red Devils went unbeaten during the league phase before defeating Real Sociedad 5-2 on aggregate in the last-16. Ruben Amorim's side have shown signs of improvement over the past few weeks and they could still crown a difficult campaign by winning major silverware on May 21.
Lyon will be no pushovers in the quarter-finals. They lost just once in the opening phase and were untroubled by FCSB in the previous round.
Man United would be well-advised not to underestimate the Ligue 1 side, but they are fancied to edge what promises to be an entertaining tie.
Elsewhere, Lazio look a good bet to beat Bodo/Glimt over two legs, while Eintracht Frankfurt and Athletic Bilbao should join them in the semi-finals.
They each have the advantage of playing the second leg of their respective ties at home, which can tip the scales in their favour.
