The 44-year-old was sacked early last month and replaced by Eric Tinkler despite Sekhukhune still in a good position to challenge for third place, which guarantees them a spot in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Babina Noko did not elaborate on why Seema was fired with only a handful of matches remaining.
But the coach has come out to set the record straight over possibly being appointed by their Betway Premiership rivals.
''Regarding me getting fired at Sekhukhune I can just tell you that I went and did a nice press conference of Nedbank. I remember we left Durban after playing Richards Bay we lost and that same day we slept there. Following morning, I went straight to the press conference and after the press conference I headed straight to Bedfordview at the head office and that's when I got fired. Regarding Richards Bay, there's nothing like that, the rumour I saw in the news, there was a lot said about me - people asking me about Richards Bay. I saw that in the media, It is not true, I don't even the chairman of Richards Bay number,'' said Seema.
Seema reflected on his two stints with Sekhukhune, who let him go in April last year only to recall him four months later.
''When I came for the first time the team was 13 or 12th place on the log. I worked well with the team and technical team and we pushed the team to number four. We did well in the CAF Confederation, that was one the highlights in my career. The traveling was crazy, but we did well and managed to come third in our group and still maintained our spot in the top four which allowed us to go back to try our luck again,'' added Seema.
The coach says part of going back was to close the chapter on targets set before the relationship broke down.
Seema also speaks fondly of the players he worked with at Sekhukhune.
''I had a good relationship with the players and the technical team and we were doing something that was working for the club. The supporters were happy for the first, we went on a winning streak of five matches, and I became coach of the month. For the first time we saw things coming together,'' he expressed.
