Bayern Munich eye Emerson Royal in summer swoop from Tottenham

The German giants are keen to strengthen their right-back position, and the 25-year-old Brazilian has caught their attention.

Tottenham are reportedly open to selling Emerson, setting his price tag at €29 million. Bayern, however, face stiff competition from Serie A heavyweights Juventus and AC Milan, who are also interested in the defender.

Bayern may have a strategic advantage in this pursuit. Former Spurs players Eric Dier and Harry Kane could play a crucial role in persuading Emerson to choose Bavaria over Italy. This connection might tip the scales in Bayern's favor as they look to secure his signature.

Emerson Royal joined Tottenham in 2021 and has since made 100 appearances for the club, scoring four goals and providing two assists.

Despite this, his recent form has seen him struggle for game time, starting only once in Tottenham's last twelve league matches this season.

Bayern Munich are said to be looking to bolster their defence ahead of the next season.
