Gavin Hunt resigned to losing more players at SuperSport

SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt is expecting the club to be involved in outgoing transfers at the end of the season.

Hunt himself publicly claimed that “two youngsters” were wanted by clubs abroad.

SABC Sport reported then that the coach was referring to defender Ime Okon and winger Shandre Campbell

Speaking after SuperSport beat Moroka Swallows 2-0 in the DStv Premiership on Saturday, Hunt explained why it would be tricky to build on this campaign.

''What do you expect out of the season? It is always difficult - the way we finished last year, we try and improve from that. But you lose players, we built a brand new team again this year and some players will go again,'' said Hunt.

Hunt argued that budget constraints usually force the Tshwane outfit to sell, evidenced by the departures of midfielder Thapelo Maseko and Patrick Maswanganyi.

''Like we do every year at this club. It's obviously difficult financially - we have to balance the book and work under budget. We are that kind of club, we produce the youth,'' added Hunt.

Hunt relied heavily on the youth this season and they blew hot and cold. He is confident they would have matured in the upcoming campaign.
