Joseph Banda set for FC Zurich switch

The 17-year-old Zambian youngster is currently playing on loan at Nkwazi from parent club Atletico Lusaka.

He is only on a short-term deal and will soon be on his way to the 13-time Swiss Super League champions.

Banda spent some time on trial with Barcelona last season before impressing during a similar spell with Zurich, turning out for their youth team in the FIFA Youth Cup.

He is a former Zambia under 17 National team captain, who scored 11 goals in three COSAFA under 17 Championships while also being the top goalscorer with 15 goals in the 2020/2021 FAZ Lusaka Provincial Division One League.

He scored his first MTN Super League goal in November as Nkwazi ended FC MUZA's 17 match unbeaten run.
