Sundowns Ladies are looking to return for the third edition of the women's continental championships, which will this year be hosted in Ivory Coast from 5-19 November 2023.
In order to qualify for the final tournament, The Brazilians will first need to get through a regional playoff tournament, which will this year feature eight teams – up from six – from Zambia, Botswana, Comoros, Eswatini, Mozambique, and two new countries in Lesotho and Malawi.
Coach Jerry Tshabalala's side, who qualify by virtue of having won the Hollywoodbets Super League in 2022, has been drawn in Group B – alongside Olympic de Moroni (Comoros), Costa do Sol (Mozambique), and Young Buffaloes (Eswatini).
