The Rockets have enjoyed a decent run in the final round of the league with seven - straight wins, along with their 6-0 thumping of Thunderbirds Ladies at the historic Mbombela Stadium on Sunday.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Michael says the team is doing well due to executing the technical team’s plan.
"I think it all comes from the training ground, the coach always pushes us to do our best and obviously us working as a team, taking instructions from the coach and bringing it into the field,” Michael said.
“I think that's why we've been consistent for the past two seasons and I think next season we would do more of what we maybe lack the past two seasons and we'll fix it.”
Michael has been instrumental in helping TS Galaxy retain their top-four spot with 58 points and two games in hand, having scored 11 league goals so far.
She says her hard work behind the scenes keeps translating on the field.
"I think I have been doing very well, it's not where I wanna be but I guess it's a process so I've been working hard and I will continue working hard. Also, the coach is really pushing me and I've been working behind the scenes you know working hard, doing my own training so I think I've been doing well this season. So, I just wanna continue putting in good work and good effort," she added.
The Rockets made history this past weekend by becoming the first team in the Super League to host a match in one of the 2010 FIFA World Cup
Venues.
Next stop for the Mpumalanga outfit is against City Lads at Kanyamazane Stadium on Saturday.
Michael says she looks forward to scoring more goals to help the team secure maximum points at home.
"My expectation against City Lads is that we need to score more goals to help the team get the three points which is more important. Coach gave us the instruction on how we're going to play this week so I think that's what we are aiming for this week, which is also just to get three points."
