Richards Bay FC have announced some exciting changes ahead of their DStv Premiership debut following their promotion from the GladAfrica Championship.
Vasili Manousakis, who is popularly known as Benni McCarthy's preferred right-hand man, will take up the Technical Advisor position at the Natal Rich Boys, while head coach Pitso Dladla and assistants Ronnie Gabriel and Sibusiso Msomi will continue in their respective positions.
Manousakis departed AmaZulu, along with Moeneeb Josephs, at the end of last season following the earlier sacking of McCarthy, who was succeeded by Brandon Truter in April.
The former Cape Town City assistant coach has gained considerable experience in the top flight and is expected to bring this into the technical setup alongside Dladla, who did well to lead the club through automatic promotion to the top flight from the second division.
The club have also roped in the likes of Nkanyiso Zungu on loan from Orlando Pirates, as well as Abel Mabaso, who was released from the Bucs ship at the end of last season.
Other new recruits include Ndiviwe Mdabuka (CT All Stars), Sibusiso Mthethwa (Stellenbosch), Yanela Mbuthuma (Thohoyandou FC), Michael Gumede (Golden Arrows), Thulani Gumede (Royal Coastal FC), Matome Mabeba (TS Sporting), Sanele Barns (AmaTuks) and Siyanda Dlamini (Uthongathi FC).
