Although coach Gavin Hunt has said SuperSport have deserved better from their recent matches, they’ve managed just three wins in their last 10 games.
Ndlovu, who joined Matsatsantsa from The Buccaneers in 2023, says he is looking forward to proving a point, although acknowledges their league form is not necessarily where it should be as they lean solely on their cup form.
"It is a very difficult fixture, but a very interesting one too because these kinds of encounters are ones you want to play as a footballer, more especially if you're on the other side of the club," said Ndlovu.
"So I'm very happy, and it's going to be an interesting one. I'm looking forward to it, and obviously we are not that great at the moment, to be honest.
"I know we've won in the cup, but in terms of the league, we are not doing so great, so I think that's where the mandate is for us as a club at the moment."
The 28-year-old insists that misfortune is the only thing hampering their league campaign this season, stressing the number of injuries in their camp as critical to overcoming that.
"I think it's just luck – if you look at the games, we create so many opportunities, but we tend to go away with nothing at the end of it," he added.
"And when we don't create much opportunities, we tend to win games, so it's a matter of luck for us this season, and also some injuries that have been killing us, but hopefully people will recover and we'll come back and compete again."
