Victor Osimhen calms Chelsea rumours with Galatasaray commitment

The Nigerian forward has shone since his summer move from Napoli, proving crucial for the Turkish club with a string of top performances, including his latest goal in Galatasaray's 2-1 victory over Besiktas.

The intense clash saw Davinson Sanchez open the scoring early, nodding in Gabriel Sara's precise free-kick in the 13th minute.

Osimhen then doubled Galatasaray's advantage in the 67th minute with a commanding header past Besiktas' Ersin Destanoglu, marking his fourth goal in seven appearances and adding four assists in all competitions this season.

Amid speculation of a winter transfer, Osimhen remained firm on his commitment, responding to transfer questions with a simple, "Yes, I am here," in an interview with Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu.

His declaration provided relief for Galatasaray fans eager to see him lead their Super Lig title charge.

With Osimhen's contributions, Galatasaray have surged to the league summit with 28 points, unbeaten in their first ten matches, securing nine wins and one draw.
