The report suggests that the striker is eager to explore opportunities elsewhere but is open to staying if the right offer does not materialise.
Discussions about Niclas Fullkrug's future are currently underway between the player and Werder Bremen, as stated by Kicker.
The German football magazine indicates that the 30-year-old striker, who represents both Werder and Germany, aims to capitalise on his impressive performance during the 2022/23 season by securing a move to a larger club and securing an improved contract.
Should Fullkrug opt to leave, Werder would expect a fee of around ¬20million for his services, according to the report.
However, if suitable options fail to come through for Fullkrug, he remains open to staying at Werder Bremen. In such a scenario, the club would offer him a new contract with improved terms.
Fullkrug's current contract with Werder is set to expire in 2025.
