In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, the 26-year-old shared his thoughts on living in Barcelona and playing for the prestigious club. Recalling his time in the city, he expressed his fondness, stating, "It was very nice. The city is incredible, and it is a club that I have very good memories of. I lived very happy moments, and the memories are all positive."

Arthur, who joined Barcelona from Brazilian side Gremio in 2018, reminisced on his journey. Perhaps I hadn't matured enough to face certain challenges. Now, I am a much better player in every aspect”mentally, physically, and in my understanding of the game. Today, I feel that I have gained a wealth of experience that enriches my life. Overcoming difficult times has taught me valuable lessons."

Having played in both La Liga and Serie A, with a close glimpse of the Premier League during his loan spell at Liverpool, Arthur expressed his preference for La Liga, praising its emphasis on possession and technical football. However, he also acknowledged the valuable lessons he learned tactically in Italy and the incredible intensity of the English game.

In conclusion, Arthur had high praise for former Barcelona captain Lionel Messi, describing him as "out of this world" and possibly the best player in history, or at least one of the top three.
