The Proteas come into this clash on the back of a convincing 80-run win over Scotland, and will look to claim the much-needed two points to secure a semi-final spot.
Speaking to SABC Sport, Jafta says they will focus on the team's strengths and not take the game lightly at Dubai international Stadium this afternoon.
"My expectations ahead of the Bangladesh clash is, obviously us as a team, to just focus on what we do well, and not taking the game lightly," said Jaftha.
"And, obviously, just knowing that two points could potentially put us in the semi-final, and obviously just playing our brand of cricket."
The match commences at 16:00 (SA time), with the Proteas currently tied on points with West Indies and England, though they’re ranked second based on net run-rate.
The top two sides in the group progress to the last four, and the wicket-keeper-batter emphasises they need to maintain their clinical performances shown against West Indies and Scotland.
"I think the results against West Indies and Scotland was a true testament of the brand of cricket that we want to play throughout this World Cup," she added.
"And, yes, it was hurdle against England, but when we assessed, we said, 'You know what? We're better than that.' And then going into the Scotland game, we knew that we had to win quite big, potentially with net run-rate dictating the standings in our pool.
"And I think going now to play against Bangladesh, nothing changes and we take it from there."
