The Momentum Proteas are back in camp till 20 May in preparations to face England in a Test series.

From a successful run at the ICC Women™s World Cup in New Zealand, the South African ladies will take on England from 27 June - 25 July, for first time in eight years since they took part in the long format.

The on-going camp will include fitness assessments and technical skills sessions with two red-ball, inter-squad matches scheduled.

Coach Hilton Moreeng is excited about the challenge ahead.

œIt™s been a long time since we™ve been exposed to rainbow cricket and hence the camp coming up to make sure we can revisit that and just do our touch base on how to go about it said Moreeng

The tour will be preceded by three T-20 Internationals, three ICC Women™s Champion ODIs against Ireland in 03 - 17 June.

œI think the most important thing now is to get the feel of it and play, and just get the experience around- so when the opportunity comes whoever is selected to play they (are) ready for the game and already know what needs to happen said Moreeng

The former South African cricketer indicated that he is not blind to the great form that England has displayed in their recent test matches.
