Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis has confirmed her squad to face 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup hosts Australia as part of their preparations for the global showpiece.
Ellis has made her intentions clear in the build-up to next years World Cup, with the omissions of a number of senior figures in the squad including captain Janine van Wyk, defender Lebo Ramalepe as well as goalkeeper Kaylin Swart.
Following the back-to-back friendly internationals against Brazil earlier this month, in which Banyana suffered 3-0 and 6-0 defeats, a number of others have been dropped and a few recognised faces brought back in.
In the goalkeeping department, the University of Johannesburg's Dineo Magagula gets the nod in place of Swart, while Regirl Ngobeni is expected to deputise for Andile Dlamini.
