Rybakina clinched her spot in the final after beating world number one Iga Swiatek in the semi-finals and secured a comfortable 6-2 6-2 victory in Sunday's showpiece.
The world number four opened by breaking Kostyuk's serve and took the first set in just 30 minutes before going on to win 30 points compared to Kostyuk's 17.
Kostyuk reached the final in impressive style after beating Zheng Qinwen and Coco Gauff in previous rounds.
She will rise to a career-high ranking of 21 on Monday and admitted that she played some "amazing" tennis during the competition.
"Every morning I didn't know what to expect from myself on the court today because really me being able to pull off this whole week and play amazing tennis yesterday was something incredible and something I would never expect I can do," Kostyuk told the WTA website.
"But today, obviously I was very nervous. I wanted to win a lot this one, and yeah, I think there were a lot of things together. Yeah, I just couldn't probably bear it anymore."
