Both sides have already qualified for the quarterfinals of the competition and the weekend fixture is to determine who takes top spot in Group A.
Mokwena feels Sundowns are deserving of that status.
''When I look at where we are in the league with games in hand, they are not number one in their domestic leagues, Mazembe, Pyramids and not even Al Ahly is number one even though they have played half the number of days. We already got a trophy,'' said Mokwena.
Mokwena listed all their achievements this season as well.
''We have qualified for the quarterfinals, now we try to finish on top of the group. We reached a target of ours, which was to take 10 points.
''The second benchmark is to see whether we can finish first and there's a huge probability with Saturday's game,’’ added Mokwena.
Mazembe are currently the log leaders after every team has played five matches, and they only occupy that position because they beat Sundowns in the first leg in Lubumbashi nearly three months ago.
The Downs coach reiterates how demanding the club expectations are.
''And we have to start thinking about the next couple of games, which will make it difficult for us - both in the domestic league and the domestic cup, that's another game that is waiting for us.
''But we dare to dream and take the pressure that comes with that,'' added Mokwena.
It’s not yet clear to Mokwena what approach Mazembe will take considering a draw will be enough for them to hold on to their position at the summit.
