The Stormers were unable to defend their URC crown in front of a sold-out Cape Town Stadium, and Province then traveled to Griquas in the Currie Cup a week later.
They subsequently lost that match as well, denting their Currie Cup campaign for 2023, and Levy says, in time, they will heal.
"Players are human, and not robots, and time heals all. Whether it's death, failing an exam, or whatever, the more you move away from that time, it heals," said Levy.
"So, I think that emotional rollercoaster and disappointment, which is natural – the more we move away from there, and the Griquas game was a quick, new focus, there are new goals."
Sixth-placed Province still have an outside chance of making the Currie Cup semi-finals and host log-leaders Sharks on Saturday – they do, however, require favours from other teams on Friday.
Levy believes having a distraction will help them deal with the season's disappointment, should Saturday in fact mark the end of their 2023 campaign.
"The Springboks are focussing on the next goal, as an example. The young players are focussing on getting their bodies in shape. The players that played a lot are focussing on, maybe, a holiday and recharging," he added.
"Before you know it, we've got pre-season on us and we can only learn from those games that we lost, and hopefully that experience can help us in the future when we play your Munsters and Leinsters."
