The couple, who were married in 2016, have two children together - a son Nicholas Siyamthanda and daughter Keziah, while they also adopted Siya's younger half-siblings Liyema and Liphelo.
The news of their split comes months after the couple returned to South Africa from France after Siya ended his contract at Racing 92 to join the Sharks.
They said the split is amicable and will still co-parent their four children and continue to work together on their foundation that they have set up.
The statement from the couple said: "We wanted to share some important news with you. After much reflection and open conversations, we have mutually decided to end our marriage.
"While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they've always known.
"We will also continue working together on the Foundation that means so much to us. And we are grateful for the love, understanding, and support youâve shown us.
"We kindly ask for your respect as we navigate this transition."
