The Super Eagles' camp in Uyo was buzzing with activity as 20 players reported for training ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Libya.

Among the early arrivals were Ballon d'Or nominee Ademola Lookman and Bayer Leverkusen's in-form striker Victor Boniface, adding firepower to the squad.

Captain William Troost-Ekong led a strong contingent that included midfielders Wilfred Ndidi, Frank Onyeka, and Raphael Onyedika.

Other key players like Samuel Chukwueze, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Alex Iwobi also joined the session, ensuring a competitive atmosphere as the team prepared for the two matches.

Super Eagles interim manager Austin Eguavoen has assembled a squad full of talent and depth.

The first leg will take place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Friday, 11 October, with the return leg scheduled for Tuesday, 15 October, in Benghazi.

Victory in both games will edge Nigeria closer to securing a spot at AFCON 2025.
