Adnan Beganovic shares secret to TS Galaxy 13-game unbeaten streak

It was winger Kamogelo Sebelebele who got the only goal of the match at Mbombela Stadium, which has pushed The Rockets into the top four on the standings. 

Galaxy are now unbeaten in 13 matches from all competitions since Beganovic took over from Sead Ramovic three months ago, and the Bosnian-born mentor revealed the secret behind their form.

"The secret is our periodisation, how we train and how we prepare our team for this February – what I call – tough schedule because I think it's eight games that we're playing in February," said Beganovic.

"And how we looked, how we ran, it's unbelievable. That means we created beautiful periodisation, and we just followed what we needed to do.

"I also want to say that we recover our players well because before we came here, I spoke with our chairman and we bought everything we need to record our players, so everything we need we now have.

"I'm so proud because he also recognises the quality and what we actually need to be on top, and now we are [in the top half] and we want to say again, our goal is top eight.

"If we reach higher, why not? But we want to fight for every point, every inch, and we don't want to give up until the end of the season."
