Alphonso Davies stays focused amid Bayern Munich contract uncertainty

Alphonso Davies, the Canadian international, recently confirmed he is not concerned about his future with Bayern Munich, despite having less than a year remaining on his contract.

The summer transfer window saw much speculation regarding his potential departure, possibly to Real Madrid, yet Davies ultimately chose to remain with the Bavarians.

As his contract expires in the summer of 2025, questions loom over whether he will extend his stay at the club.

"As of now, my full focus is to stay healthy and to play the game with the club I'm with right now," he said.

"I'm not focused on what's going on in the future. Just focusing on staying healthy and helping my team win."

When asked if he feels valued at Bayern, Davies replied, "Most definitely. My team makes me feel valued. The whole Bayern community makes me feel valued. I see that each and every day."
