Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo, both currently on loan at Barcelona, emerge as pivotal figures in Laporta's discourse with Mundo Deportivo. 

Addressing their continuity, Laporta expresses optimism tempered with cautious negotiations: "I think they will continue. I hope that Atletico de Madrid does not put any obstacles to Joao Felix continuing with us, and I believe that City will not either."

Laporta underscores the role of renowned agent Jorge Mendes in facilitating discussions, hinting at potential contract extensions or permanent signings. The president's stance reflects Barcelona's resolve to fortify their ranks with familiar faces.

In a subsequent inquiry regarding Ansu Fati's future, Laporta's response unveils a more nuanced outlook. Fati's trajectory, marked by injury setbacks and loan spells, prompts uncertainty despite contractual obligations: "Ansu had the injury, he has recovered, he has gone through a series of vicissitudes, and we will see at the end of the season what will happen."
