Barcelona star Lamine Yamal could be fit for Las Palmas clash

Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal is set to rejoin full training following an ankle injury sustained during a Champions League match against Red Star Belgrade.

The young star initially reported pain in his right ankle, which was thought to be minor.

However, the discomfort persisted, forcing him to miss the subsequent three matches, including the recent clash against Brest.

Despite being excluded from the squad for the Brest match due to ongoing pain, Yamal's condition was monitored closely. On the pitch, tests confirmed the discomfort remained.

After the match, Yamal had a reassuring conversation with Barcelona coach Hansi Flick, who assured him he would return to full training soon.

If recovery progresses as hoped, Yamal is expected to be included in the squad for Saturday's match against Las Palmas.

He will be joined by Ferran Torres, who is also expected to make his return to action.

The young forward's return will be a welcome boost for Barcelona, as Yamal continues to develop into a key player under Flick's guidance.

Fans are eagerly awaiting his recovery and a potential return to form ahead of upcoming fixtures.
