Bayern have long been interested in Gavi, with talks already held before he signed a new deal with Barcelona. At the age of 18, Gavi is considered one of the best midfielders in his age group, and he is a crucial player for Barcelona, playing regularly for the Spanish national team.

While Bayern currently have enough midfield depth, the club would make space for a player like Gavi if the opportunity arises. However, it could spell the end of Ryan Gravenberch's debut season at Bayern, as the Dutch midfielder has struggled for playing time.

If Bayern signed two midfielders, things could get even more difficult for Gravenberch. Meanwhile, Marcel Sabitzer is expected to leave Bayern in the summer, with a productive loan spell at Manchester United.
