Stellenbosch and Sekhukhune share spoils
In an intense Betway Premiership clash at Danie Craven Stadium, Stellenbosch FC and Sekhukhune United played out a thrilling 1-1 draw.
The game kicked off with both teams looking eager to dominate. Early on, Sekhukhune's Andy Boyeli nearly broke the deadlock, but his header went just wide. Stellenbosch took the lead in the 6th minute when Chumani Butsaka found the bottom left corner, thanks to a fine assist from Fawaaz Basadien.
Sekhukhune responded swiftly, leveling the score at 1-1 in the 22nd minute through Sipho Mbule's precise shot from outside the box.
The match took a dramatic turn when Sekhukhune were reduced to 10 men after Siphesihle Mkhize received a straight red card for a dangerous tackle.

Stellenbosch's offensive plays were highlighted by several blocked and saved attempts, with notable efforts from Thato Khiba, Kazie Godswill, and Langelihle Phili.

Stellenbosch remain in sixth place with 20 points from 13 matches, while Sekhukhune hold onto fourth with 24 points from 14 games, showcasing the competitive nature of this season's Betway Premiership.
Polokwane City triumph over Chippa United
Polokwane City secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Chippa United in Saturday evening's Betway Premiership match, with a second-half strike from Ndamulelo Maphangule proving to be the difference.
The match saw key moments in the first half, including Oswin Appollis, returning from injury, who was involved early but couldn't trouble Chippa's goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali. Polokwane's Lebohang Nkaki also missed a headed chance, and Raymond Daniels squandered a good opportunity.
However, just two minutes before the break, Maphangule found the back of the net, finishing off a Puleng Tlolane cross to give "Rise and Shine" the lead.
Chippa United made several changes at half-time, bringing on Malebogo Modise, Ronaldo Maarman, and Giovanni Philander in an attempt to find an equaliser.
Sinoxolo Kwayiba made an early attacking move, and Appollis' effort forced a save from Nwabali. Modise, however, missed a golden chance to level the score, as he failed to convert a pass from Azola Ntsabo.
Meanwhile, the clash between Marumo Gallants and Royal AM was postponed.
