The Brazilians, who have won the continental title twice – 2021 and 2023 – want to defend the title.
They are also eager to become the first African team going to the FIFA event.
Sundowns Ladies have qualified for the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League tournament by virtue of being holders.
"Going to CAF Champions League is always a goal. We always wanna dominate Africa and this one is very important. Remember there is a possibility of a Club World Cup in 2026. If we keep on winning CAF Champions League, we'll be eligible to go and represent Africa in a Club World Cup whenever it's announced," Tshabalala said.
Sundowns Ladies will be without top striker Tholakele Refilwe for a long period due to injury, and Tshabalala is contemplating getting a replacement to be ready for the upcoming tournaments.
"We lost one of our top strikers in Refilwe Tholakele via injury but it's part of the game, those things happen but we also have a tournament coming now in the USA possibly we might have to beef up the squad a little bit,” he added.
“The window period is open until the 30th, I'm hoping that we'll get those players that we want before the window period so we can have a stronger side in terms of us going to the US and also going to CAF Champions League late in November. We're hoping that we can get one or two players just to bolster the squad."
