Cameroon keeping door open for Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana

Cameroon coach Rigobert Song is open to the return of goalkeeper Andre Onana but insists the wantaway needs to sort out his priorities.

The Inter Milan gloveman had a fallout with the Indomitable Lions coaching staff after their opening match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Since, Onana announced his retirement from international football despite being just 27 years old.

However, according to FCInter1908.it, Song is leaving the door open for Onana should have have a change of heart and attitude.

"The door to the national team remains open for Onana," said Song.

"But he has to understand what he wants. Discipline is needed in a group, it's up to him to become aware of that.

"He must respect the rules of the team because that's my priority. He's one of the best goalkeepers in the world but I can't focus on individuals ahead of the collective."
