The Croatian midfielder missed Saturday's La Liga victory over Almeria with a muscular injury. Modric picked up the injury in the defeat to Girona on Tuesday, and he was initially expected to be out for two weeks.
However, the 37-year-old may now feature in the show-piece event on Saturday, as well as the Champions League semi-final against Manchester City.
Ancelotti confirmed that other squad members are also in contention to return. "(Eder) Militao is fine, he had a personal issue, he came back when training started, tomorrow he will start. (David) Alaba is not available, but like Modric, he can be available for Saturday's game," said the Italian in a press conference.
Ancelotti's side face Real Sociedad in La Liga on Tuesday, where they will come up against former Real Madrid forward Takefusa Kubo.
Ancelotti revealed that Real Madrid are exploring the possibility of bringing the 21-year-old Japan international back to the Bernabeu. Kubo has seven goals and seven assists in 38 appearances for Sociedad this season.
