Chelsea linked to signing Youssoufa Moukoko from Dortmund

Chelsea are very interested in making a move to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko.

Chelsea are reportedly very interested in making a move to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Youssoufa Moukoko during the January transfer window.

The 18-year-old Moukoko's contract at Dortmund is set to expire at the end of the Bundesliga season.

The striker has scored six goals in 14 Bundesliga games this season.

Moukoko became the youngest player to represent Germany at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar when he came off the bench to face Japan.

The Athletic reports that Chelsea coach Graham Potter is looking to sign a new long-term option at centre forward and has set his sight on acquiring Moukoko.

But the report adds that Moukoko is also on the radar of both Liverpool and Manchester United, but is not ruling out the option of extending his current deal with Dortmund.

In an interview last month with German press, when asked about his future, Moukoko said: "I feel very comfortable in Dortmund, I feel the confidence of the coach.

"You'll find out in the end whether I decide to stay or not," he added.
