Chelsea teammate Marc Cucurella backs Senegal sharpshooter Nicolas Jackson to end dry spell

Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella is confident that Nicolas Jackson can regain his top form in the second half of the 2024/25 season, following a dip in his performances over the past few months.

While Chelsea has only secured two wins in their last nine matches, Jackson has also struggled to consistently deliver positive results this season.

Cucurella, who has seen Jackson contribute 18 goals and 10 assists in 48 appearances across all competitions, believes the striker will find the back of the net regularly if he receives strong support from his teammates.

"For any striker, scoring goals is crucial, but with Nicolas, it's not only about the goals he contributes a lot to the team," Cucurella told The Mirror, according to Chelsea News.

"He's excellent at pressing and makes a lot of intelligent runs to help others, which is really valuable."

"Every player goes through challenging moments in the season, but the key is for us to support him during this time. If he keeps going like this, he will definitely score plenty of goals."
