As first reported by iDiski Times, the Ghanaian international had been linked with a move away from Orlando Pirates at the start of the season and the Team of Choice intensified their interest earlier this week.
“Yes, the negotiations have been successful and he is joining us on loan for six months,” Kadodia said when asked it the move was official.
“This is to boost coach Fadlu Davids’ striking department and we see him as a good option to be able to do that for us, yes.”
Peprah joined Pirates at the start of the 2021/22 season, ending that debut campaign as the club’s top goalscorer with nine goals from 38 games in all competitions, including the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Buccaneers coach at the time was Davids, and the two will now reunite, at least for the remainder of the current season with the player having fallen down the pecking order and out of favour with the Pirates tactician Jose Riveiro.
Peprah’s move frees up a foreign slot for Pirates, and this could trigger the arrival of Cameroon international Souaibou Marou, who was part of the Indomitable Lions’ FIFA World Cup squad in Qatar.
SABC Sport has been led to believe the deal is quite complex, but reports in his native country suggest he is on his way to joining Pirates.
Marou scored 30 goals in 63 matches for Coton Sport.
