Daniel Peretz pours cold water on Bayern Munich exit rumours

Bayern Munich's goalkeeping ranks have been stirred by speculation, but Daniel Peretz has moved quickly to shut down talk of a permanent departure.

Reports had surfaced suggesting the Israeli shot-stopper was eyeing a summer exit from the Bavarian giants in search of more minutes on the pitch. However, Peretz has firmly dismissed those claims.

Speaking to Bild, the 24-year-old made his ambitions crystal clear. "My dream is still to become Bayern's first-choice goalkeeper. I'm working hard for that. That's why I don't want to be sold or leave the club permanently," he said.

For Peretz, the Allianz Arena remains the ultimate destination, and he's not ready to abandon that vision just yet.

That said, the young keeper isn't ruling out a temporary move. "My plan is to go out on loan after the season to get some playing time, get better and be ready for FC Bayern," Peretz added.

A loan spell could be the perfect stepping stone, offering him the chance to sharpen his skills and return stronger to challenge for a spot in Bayern's starting XI.

Currently, Peretz sits third in the pecking order behind the legendary Manuel Neuer and rising star Jonas Urbig. With Neuer still commanding the No. 1 jersey at 39 and Urbig waiting in the wings, game time has been hard to come by for the Israeli international.

Bayern Munich have yet to comment officially on Peretz's future, but recent posts on X from club insiders suggest the goalkeeping situation remains a hot topic among fans, with some calling for youth to be given a chance.

For now, Peretz's focus is unwavering. He's determined to fight for his place, whether that's in Munich or on loan elsewhere. Bayern Munich have a reputation for nurturing talent, and Peretz is banking on that tradition to fuel his rise.
