Szoboszlai stole the spotlight with a brilliant performance as the Reds triumphed 6-3 over Tottenham in a high-scoring Premier League encounter.
Szoboszlai not only scored Liverpool's third goal just before half-time but also played a crucial role in creating several other chances, cementing his reputation as one of the team's key players.
Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah both scored twice, while Alexis Mac Allister added to the tally, ensuring Liverpool's dominant win.
The victory marked an impressive 21st win in 25 matches for manager Arne Slot, whose tactical acumen continues to drive the team to the top of the Premier League.
With a four-point lead and a game in hand, Liverpool look set to mount a strong challenge for the title.
Despite their commanding position, Szoboszlai emphasised that the team still has much to achieve.
"Probably actually no-one expected him, us to start so well - but he is believing in the team, we are believing in him," said Szoboszlai post-match.
"We need the whole squad, that has showed many times. It doesn't matter who plays, we give our best on the pitch: Champions League, cups and in the Premier League as well. That's why we are top of the table and top of the Champions League."
Looking ahead, Liverpool face Leicester City at Anfield on Boxing Day before concluding the year with a match against West Ham United.
