Eddie Nketiah eyes silverware with Eagles

Eddie Nketiah says he's loving his new lease of life at Crystal Palace and would love to win something with the club.

The 25-year-old joined the Eagles from Arsenal this season and has played 25 games in all competitions, scoring four goals and creating one.

Oliver Glasner's side are currently in 12th place on the Premier League standings, but have a real chance of progressing in the FA Cup, as they Fulham in a quarter-final clash, on March 29.

Nketiah came up through the Arsenal youth system and went on to play 168 games for the Gunners, scoring 38 goals. But he was largely used as a bench player in recent seasons and struggled for game-time at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

After citing a desire for more game-time, the player was subsequently snapped up by Palace.

Speaking to NBC Sports, the English-born Ghanaian said: "I want to play as many games as possible, contribute as much as possible, and hopefully win something with Crystal Palace, that's the [goal].

"We want to try and climb up the table as high as possible and compete in the cups that we're in.

"For myself, I'd like to just have an injury-free year, where I'm able to progress and improve my game and get that consistency on and off the pitch with the team and individually."
