Gary Lineker remarks on Mo Salah's unique brand of humour

Football legend Gary Lineker recently shared details of a funny conversation he had with Liverpool's Mohamed Salah about the forward's future at the club.

Salah, who has been strongly linked with a potential move to the Saudi Pro League, has yet to finalize his commitment to Liverpool as he enters the final six months of his current contract.

During an appearance on the Rest is Football podcast, Lineker recounted a lighthearted exchange with Salah, who appeared to playfully flirt with the idea of signing a lucrative contract towards the end of his career.

"He's a great guy. I spent about 10 minutes with him when I visited Arne Slot," Lineker shared on the podcast, according to The Mirror.

"He asked me, 'How old were you when you stopped playing?' I told him, 'Well, I finished playing in English football at 32, then I went to Japan for a couple of years.'"

"He said, 'Ah, you went for the money, did you?' I replied, 'Yeah, I suppose so.' He then said, 'Yeah, I might do the same.' After that, he winked at the press guy with us. It was all in good fun, but he does have that cheeky sense of humor."
