Dan Malesela's side are rock-bottom of the league with just two wins from 18 games.
But such is the nature of the South African top-flight, that a few victories could change the whole complexion of their woeful campaign.
Only five points separates Gallants with 11th-placed Maritzburg, who have five wins from 17 matches, while Arrows in 13th with 19 points, could see themselves up to eighth with a big win at the Princess Magogo Stadium.
But Arrows go into this game on the back of two consecutive defeats, to Orlando Pirates and Maritzburg.
Speaking after losing to the Team of Choice, Arrows co-coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi said on SuperSport: "Very disappointed, I mean we were playing at home, we could have won the game.
"I think the one thing that needs attention, in terms of dealing with our psychological aspect from our players.
"We seem to lack concentration towards the dying minutes of the game. It's a room for us that we need to improve and make sure that we focus from the beginning until the end."
Gallants managed a 1-1 draw with AmaZulu last time out, with boss Malesela optimistic about taking on Arrows.
He said: "If we had really pushed ourselves in the second-half, the way we were playing because we had AmaZulu under serious pressure, we probably would have gotten a goal.
"We will push in the next few matches, the next match is very important for us to try and gather three points, at least if we leave here, we have gotten four points, then we are going somewhere and see what we can get out of the Pirates match."
