Harry Kane: Leroy Sane has been Bayern Munich's best player this season

Sane has been instrumental for Die Roten this campaign. The 27-year-old has scored nine goals and provided seven assists across all competitions.

Kane's praise for the former Manchester City star came after Bayern beat Heidenheim 4-2 at the Allianz Arena on Saturday - a game which featured two assists for Sane.

"He has great pace and outstanding power. Leroy is probably our best player so far this season. He is fantastic," said Kane.

"Even today, when it was 2-2, I had the feeling that he was the player who would lift us up again.

"He is such an important player for us with his skills. Today he made two assists for me again, which is great. I hope we keep this connection."
