Spurs' Harry Kane not 'interested' in joining Bayern Munich; Man City more realistic

One of the biggest transfer stories of the summer surrounds the future of Tottenham forward Harry Kane.

The England skipper has been closely linked with a move to Bayern Munich, though former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara is not convinced whether Bavaria is the right destination for the striker.

Instead, O'Hara believes Kane will see out his contract in North London before moving to current European champions, Manchester City.

Speaking to Grosvenor Sport, he said: "Harry Kane will stay at Spurs for another year and it won't surprise me if he ends up at Manchester City for free next summer, I don't think that would be out of the realms of possibility.

"Is Erling Haaland going to stay at Manchester City for his whole career or for the next three or four seasons? I don't think he will.

"There will be a time when Haaland goes to Real Madrid and so City could have a ready-made replacement in Harry Kane next year.

"That would be my idea if I was Harry Kane, I'd say to City, 'I'll wait one more season but you've got to sign me next year'."

Bayern Munich are understood to have agreed personal terms with Kane, though a deal with Tottenham is far from done.

Spurs are intent on getting value for their man, however the German champions don't want to overpay for a player who will be available for free next summer.

O'Hara added: "I don't think Harry Kane is that interested in going to Bayern Munich. I know he's at Tottenham and the alternative is to have another season there, but he's had a prison sentence at Spurs for five years already the poor man, and he scored 30 goals last season with Spurs finishing eighth, so what's one more year?

"If he wins the league at Bayern, well done, they've won the league in Germany the last 10 years. It's not a huge opportunity where he's going to think 'wow'.

"I know he wants to win trophies but he's 47 goals aways from the Premier League record, he can stay here and he can go to a Premier League club on a free next season and get paid £500k-£600k a week.

"And why on earth would he go to PSG? He's not going to want to go and play in a farmers' league. Everyone has left, Neymar wants out, Lionel Messi has left, Kylian Mbappe is pulling his hair out and wants to go to Real Madrid.

"So why would Kane want to go there? To win the dog and duck cup every season? There's no point him going to PSG, it means nothing."
