Kane's stunning hat-trick, including two penalties and a sublime late goal, marked his third of the season and further cemented his status as Bayern's talisman.
Vincent Kompany's side, fresh from a narrow 1-0 win against FC St. Pauli before the international break, started the match with just one change, Michael Olise retained his spot ahead of Leroy Sane. Augsburg, led by Jess Thorup, brought Elvis Rexhbecaj back into their line-up.
The visitors' disciplined defence frustrated Bayern in the first half, with goalkeeper Nediljko Labrovic making crucial saves, including a spectacular double stop from Kane and Jamal Musiala.
The breakthrough came in the 63rd minute when Mads Pedersen's handball gifted Bayern a penalty. Kane coolly converted to put the hosts ahead. Augsburg struggled to mount any significant response, and their task became impossible after Keven Schlotterbeck was shown a red card for a foul on Kane in the box.
The English forward converted the resulting penalty in stoppage time to make it 2-0.
Kane saved his best for last, showcasing exquisite control to bring down Leon Goretzka's diagonal ball before heading it past Labrovic for his third goal.
The "Lupenreiner" hat-trick, a flawless treble in a single half, was Kane's second of the season, taking his Bundesliga tally to 17 goals.
Speaking to DAZN, Kane reflected on his penalty prowess, having now scored 25 consecutive spot-kicks. "I've missed plenty in training," he admitted with a smile. "That's where I fine-tune the details."
Bayern's victory not only reinforced their dominance but also highlighted Kane's pivotal role as they chase domestic and European glory.
