The Brave Warriors made history with their first AFCON win by beating Tunisia 1-0 in their opening group game thanks to a late effort from Deon Hotto.
As his side prepares to take on South Africa in their second Group E match, Benjamin explained that with a number of players unlikely to be at the next competition, they are hoping to go out with a bang.
Also in their group are Mali, who defeat Bafana 2-0 in their AFCON opener.
The head coach said on FARPost: "This is huge for Namibia. Namibia has always been getting beatings; us as a country, we get beaten politically, economically and in a lot of spheres.
"So, what these Brave Warriors did was to bring some restoration in Namibia as a country. We are all proud."
Benjamin added: "They had hunger, and for some of them, this is the last AFCON. So they will go into the history books of Namibia as heroes, as Brave Warriors, for their efforts in this tournament.
"Those are the things that drive them. We are really proud. It's a proud moment to be Namibian. We fought a good fight."
