Jamal Musiala credits Muller and Kane for mastering goal-scoring positions

Bayern Munich's young star, Jamal Musiala, has been in fine form, particularly with his newfound ability to score headers.

His teammates, Thomas Muller and Harry Kane, have played significant roles in his development.

Musiala revealed in an interview, "I talk a lot with Thomas and Harry about how to position myself. Thomas is always happy when I score an easy goal.

"We've talked about that a lot over the years: getting into the right position so I don't have to do anything crazy to score," he said.

He further elaborated on his learning process, "I've tried to develop my own feeling for where to run and what movements I can use to surprise the defender. And now I've really got it. But it can always be improved, and it's about repeating it."

Musiala's focus on honing his positioning skills underlines his commitment to growth and excellence on the pitch.

Joao Palhinha's Swift Return

On the injury front, Bayern Munich's Joao Palhinha has been sidelined since a brief appearance in a Bundesliga match against St. Pauli on November 9. A muscular injury incurred during international duty with Portugal has kept him out of action, but his dedication to the team is evident.

After a short break for the holidays, Palhinha returned to Bundesliga side earlier than anticipated to continue his rehabilitation, eager to be fit for Bayern's upcoming challenges.

His early return was well-received by coach Vincent Kompany and the club's staff. With Bayern still in contention for two trophies this season and having faced numerous injury setbacks, Palhinha's prompt return to training is a boost for the squad's depth.

Whether this will translate into more starting opportunities for Palhinha in 2025 remains to be seen, but his commitment certainly positions him favorably in Kompany's plans.

As Bayern Munich prepare for their next match against Borussia Monchengladbach, both Musiala's strategic positioning and Palhinha's return to fitness could be pivotal in maintaining the team's competitive edge across all fronts.
